International Symposia on Music Medicine
In 1996 and 1994 the IMR hosted international symposia on music medicine jointly with the International Society for Music Medicine and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Both conferences brought physicians and other health care professionals from around the world to share results of their research. Papers from the 1994 symposium were published in Music Medicine II, which is available from MMB Music. Papers from the 1996 conference are being published in several special issues of the International Journal of Arts Medicine (also available from MMB Music).
